While yesterday's hotfixes may have fixed most of the disconnect issues, players are now experiencing potentially worse desyncs than before with Queen Ansurek's Web Blades.

With the latest update on Patch 11.0.5 Nerub-ar Palace latency issues, players seem to experience less disconnects which is a major boon for players still progressing in the Season 1 raid. However, players are now experiencing an even worse version of Queen Ansurek's Web Blades as the recent changes seem to have had little or no impact and introduced an opposite desync.
Even after the hotfix, players are still experiencing the same desync issues on Queen Ansurek with Web Blades where the animation will play when it's supposed to, but the damage event occurs afterwards. You can see some of these clips in yesterday's article.
There's now a new Desync bug, where the animation of the Web Blade lingers on the ground. This can easily throw off players that think the damage hasn't gone off yet (or combined with the original desync maybe it hasn't actually gone off yet).
A boss that has a one-shot mechanic with a completely unpredictable telegraph is a significant issue and one we hope will be addressed quickly. While there are methods to reduce the chance that you get hit with desync (such as standing still for longer until after the animation fires), players should not need to go to these lengths especially on an already very difficult encounter. In addition, there are times where sometimes you really do have to move right when the animation is supposed to finish.
Such a punishing set of precision mechanics needs to give players all the tools to be precise, and right now that's not possible and feels unfair to players.
