This leaves them with the undeniable choice of killing. However, there may be more options in this scenario than seems obvious at a glance.
If players decide to go after Shah, they face the head of the Brood, a vicious gang found west of the Slag Heap. Shah’s base is packed with gang members ready to defend him, and there are a few ways to approach this obstacle. One option is to first visit Huron, a character near the player’s Stash in the Slag Heap, who offers the side quest «No Honor Among Thieves.» Though the side quest is not required as part of taking down Shah, players who prefer a stealthier approach should make sure they complete it.
Completing this quest involves locating Docent, who reveals the location of Shah’s secret stash. This stash holds a unique weapon called «Shah’s Mate,» a modified Viper-5.
After the quest is complete, Huron will provide directions to a hidden route into the Brood’s lair, offering a safer and more strategic entry point.
