launched with a lot of quirky issues, and one player has shared a bug where their weapon is mysteriously swapped out for a new gun — and they're not the only one to experience this. Numerous bug issues since its launch, including some glaring issues with A-Life, have seen under some scrutiny after its 14 years of development. But despite not quite running perfectly, the game has still sold over 1 million copies, all while offering an experience that's been very much worth players waiting.
Heading to Reddit to share their bewildering experience in, user Skankhunt-XLII posted a strange clip of their gun randomly being replaced with a new weapon while exploring the Zone. Players in the comments have shared similar experiences, expressing the OP isn't alone in encountering this bizarre bug in their gameplay. User Inner_Ad_7734 even gives an explanation as to what may be occurring, writing:While this isn't confirmed information, it does seem likely that the game has somehow confused entities and given players the item incorrectly.
