The latest Team GO Rocket Take Over Event is set to take place in with Fashion Week: Taken Over 2025. The event will run alongside the normal fashion week event, which is currently taking place and features the debut of Fashionable Minccino. The Taken Over event doesn't run for a full week but gives trainers plenty of chance to participate, running fromWednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time until Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8 p.m. local time.
The event sees a considerable increase in the number of Team GO Rocket members at PokeStops and in balloons, including Grunts, Leaders, and the Boss. On top of this, the latest special research is introduced into, following on from previous Team GO Rocket tasks. These can be completed by defeating Grunts, Leaders and tracking down Boss Giovanni. A host of bonuses are taking place during the event, making it one that players should not miss.
