During the quest "," players must scour Camp Icarus in order to learn the identity of Faust's mysterious ally. However, in order to do so, they'll have to side either with Ward Captain Senkevych, or with SIRCAA scientist Dr. Kryvenko, in order to cross a field full of research antennas. Kryvenko is using them to gather data on the area. He asks that Skif gather data from them and return it to him; in exchange, he promises to give him some valuable information.
Senkevych, however, would rather Skif simply destroy the antennas. He has no idea what Kryvenko is up to, and besides, his antennas are causing interference that prevents the Ward from conducting its own scans of the area. Then, return to Senkevych, who's grateful for Skif's help, but demands more; there's still a signal coming from the basement. He'll have to travel down there to find a psi-beacon, an anomalous device that constantly emits waves of psychic damage. Watch out for the ball lightning anomaly, break the beacon quickly, and head back upstairs.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is an ambitious and engrossing open-world immersive sim, putting you in the Zone, an unnerving and unfathomable place.
One positive of breaking the antennas is that Skif will be able to fire his gun within Camp Icarus once they're destroyed. That means it'll be easier to take out any lurking mutants, but it does
