Ancient Relics are among the most important recurring collectibles in . There's a set of them located in each of the game's major, free-roaming maps, including a set of ten in the Vatican. Ancient Relics are apparently worthless when you first start collecting them (although finding all 50 may unlock a secret ending), but they are a lot of fun to find. Each relic has unique unlock conditions or a well-concealed hiding place, and although the game does provide you with a map to help guide your search, you'll need your wits about you to find them.
Finding all the artifacts in a particular area can also be rewarding, as each set of relics is associated with a "" quest. Once you complete it, you'll receive a few Adventure Points, which you can spend on unlocking skill books to level Indy up. If nothing else, hunting for Relics is a great way to explore the game's maps, getting to know its pivotal locations, and maybe picking up on some history along the way. A little further along in the main quest, you'll need to solve a series of puzzles to enter a long-hidden ruin beneath the Tower of Nicholas V. Again, this section is part of the main quest, so it's hard to miss.
If you're ever having trouble with a puzzle, take pictures of its elements using Indy's camera to get some extra hints.
Once you've solved the puzzle, continue along the quest pathway until you enter the Necropolis. Use
