Players will be able to get their hands on The First Berserker: Khazan soon, with both a demo and the full game due to launch in early 2025.
A demo for the action RPG will be released on January 16, with the full game coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam on March 27.
The news was announced at The Game Awards on Thursday, where the new trailer below premiered.
The First Berserker: Khazan is based on the Dungeon & Fighter Online universe, which is Nexon‘s flagship IP, with over 800 million players worldwide, according to the company.
“Set 800 years before the events of DnF, the game unfolds on the continent of Arad and explores the untold story of Khazan, the first Berserker,” reads an official description of the game.
“The player will become Khazan, the great general of the Pell Los Empire, who overcame death, and sets out to reveal the incidents that led to his downfall and seek vengeance on his enemies.
“Players will experience Khazan’s legendary journey firsthand as they master intricate and engaging combat mechanics and strategic battles that bring his epic tale to life.”
A host of titles were revealed at The Game Awards, including a new sci-IP from Naughty Dog, an Okami sequel from a new studio headed by Hideki Kamiya, a third-person Turok game, and a new Virtua Fighter from Like a Dragon studio Ryu Ga Gotoku.
