Blizzard has revealed that will be making its way to the PlayStation 5 Pro, but figuring out when is a different story. While the PlayStation 5 Pro was not met with open arms by Sony fans, that doesn't mean players won't enjoy all Sanctuary has to offer with the enhanced graphics.
As spotted by VGC, senior Vice President and General Manager Rod Fergusson posted on X stating
This sparked the question of a timeline for the release almost instantly, which will most likely not be getting an answer any time soon.
Though Fergusson mentions that this enhanced version of both and will be coming to the PlayStation 5 Pro, the details on when are foggy. As mentioned in the post, further details will be revealed at a later date, but given release is imminent, some fans are champing at the bit for a time frame. Others are more upset that Xbox players are being «neglected.»
According to @Alejandromp66 on X, PS5 Pro versions should not be available for Xbox games. They say,While this may be true for some, it seems most are just excited to see Sanctuary in a whole new light with the enhanced versions coming to the latest Sony platform.
Several pre-existing titles are being enhanced for the PlayStation 5 Pro, including and to name a few. Even with all the new additions, fans seem to be revolting against the steep price tag. Given that it will cost a whopping $700, this isn't shocking, but it begs the question, will fans be more inclined to purchase one given the announcement by Blizzard?
hits the market on October 8, but pre-downloads for those who have pre-ordered the title are already rolling out. With the revelation of coming to the PS5 Pro, some fans wonder if this is just the start of Microsoft games slowly being supported by Sony's premium console.
