After crossing 1.2 million concurrent players on Steam and selling over five million copies, Palworld’s hot streak continues. It now has 1,582,482 peak concurrent players and is the third-highest concurrently played game on Steam yet. Though it’s still behind PUBG: Battlegrounds and Counter-Strike 2, it’s surpassed the likes of Lost Ark (1,325,305) and Dota 2 (1,295,114) in all-time peak concurrent player counts.
Palworld launched for early access on January 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It immediately became a hit, selling over one million copies in eight hours and then two million on its first day. Less than two days after launch, it crossed three million sales and one million peak concurrent players. After selling over four million, developer Pocketpair said its latest sales averaged 86,000 units per hour.
It’s thus likely, especially with the concurrent player count rising, that it could sell over six million copies soon. Stay tuned in the meantime when that happens. For more details on Palworld, check out our review. You can also read our tips and tricks guide here.
