Overwatch 2 Season 7: Rise of Darkness has arrived, bringing a new battle pass themed around Halloween and Blizzard's Diablo franchise. The 80-tier battle pass features spooky legendary skins like Ghostly Bride Widowmaker and Victorian Doll Echo. Other legendary skins include Azmodan Wrecking Ball--designed to look like the Diablo boss--Night Raven Illari, and Diesel Baron Ramattra. The Mythic skin, awarded at the end of the battle pass, is Onryō Hanzo, designed after the ghost commonly found in Japanese folklore. Season 7 does not feature a new hero so neither does the new battle pass.
The premium battle pass costs 1,000 Coins (about $10 USD), but there is also a massive bundle that includes the premium battle pass. The $40 USD bundle features the Lilth Moira skin, Inarius Pharah skin, and Pumpkin Bastion skin, in addition to 2,000 Coins (about $20 USD), 20 battle pass tiers, and the premium battle pass.
The launch of the new season coincides with a few big updates to Overwatch 2, including the rework of Sombra and a new control point map. It also comes alongside the return of the Halloween Terror event, which brings a few old spooky skins back to the shop--which can be purchased with the free currency, Credits--and a new PvE event, Trials of Sanctuary, a Diablo-themed twist on the typical Junkenstien's Return arcade missions.
The premium battle pass also features a variety of other cosmetic items, including sprays, icons, player cards, voicelines, and more. The free tiers also include a bunch of Credits, which can be spent in the Halloween Terror event shop or on old hero skins via the hero gallery. Here's every item you can get in the Overwatch 2 Season 7: Rise of Darkness battle pass.
