With the Lunar New Year upon us, Honkai: Star Rail is celebrating with an animated short centring on Guinaifen and Sushang from the Xianzhou Luofu. While this is, for all intents and purposes, a very short clip – it’s left us hungering for a full-length anime. Seeing the environments from the game brought to life, along with dozens of fan favourite characters, is extremely exciting.
Word of a Genshin Impact anime has been rumbling for years now, but it’s yet to actually materialise, which is surprising given the popularity of the action RPG – especially in Japan. As such, we’re not going to hold our breath for a Honkai: Star Rail adaptation any time soon – but this is proof that it could work should HoYoverse ever get around to it.

If genshin impact didnt get an anime, why would this? Also i like hokai impact 3rd but why no console release?
@BansheeNorn I wouldn't rule out Honkai Impact 3rd coming to consoles when they launch the new planet.
Azur Lane got a meh(overall) anime and good OVA series.
