Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth seemingly includes a reference to Kingdom Hearts 2 and the sweet treat that all of Twilight Town seems to adore - the sea-salt ice cream.
As you'd expect considering they're both Square Enix properties and have crossed over with each other many times in the past, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts like to include little easter eggs and references in one another's games, from mentions of Keyblades to Sora appearing as a summon in World of Final Fantasy. That tradition is alive and well in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

As pointed out by Noisy Pixel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth includes a subtle nod to a staple of the Kingdom Hearts series that started in Kingdom Hearts 2. After reaching the Gold Saucer section of the game and carrying on with the main story, you'll be tasked with finding Barret, which leads you to the Corel region of the map.
You're not the only one looking for Barret, though, as the Turks are also travelling to Corel. One of those Turks, Elena, ends up getting stuck in the desert and complains about the hot weather, eventually leading to her asking Rude for some ice cream to help with the heat. Later on in the game, a cutscene shows Elena eating an ice cream while in a helicopter, and it's one that fans will surely recognise.
If you take a close look at the ice cream that Elena is eating, you'll notice that it bears a striking resemblance to the sea-salt ice cream that was first shown as a favourite of the Twilight Town gang in Kingdom Hearts 2. It's not explicitly said to be a sea-salt ice cream, but the blue colouring of it indicates that it's the same.
There is a slight difference in shape between the ice cream that Elena is eating and the sea-salt ice cream shown in Kingdom Hearts (which is fatter and doesn't have the same lines etched into it), but it still appears to be the same.
