MultiVersus fans are hopeful that we'll finally see the game re-revealed this month, and there's a surprising amount of evidence supporting that idea.
2023 might have been a bad year for MultiVersus fans after the game had a glacial second season and was then taken offline with the promise of a relaunch at a later date, but 2024 has arguably been just as painful. The MultiVersus community has been getting its hopes up every other week for some kind of announcement or hint at when we can see more of the game, only to be left with silence.
You'd think that after so many letdowns fans would give up on the game and just let Player First Games quietly cook until it's ready, but that's not the case. In fact, thanks to a surprising amount of evidence, fans seem more certain than ever before that March is when we're finally going to see what the future of MultiVersus has in store.
Over on Twitter, reliable MultiVersus insider multiversusie, who previously provided leaks and datamines when the game was active, has been posting quite frequently about their hopes for a re-reveal in the near future. After predicting that we might see the game in February, they've now turned their hopes to March, saying, "March finally feels like the right time, and also the perfect time for something to finally happen".
They're not the only ones either, as YouTuber Papa Genos also supported the idea of MultiVerus making a comeback at some point over the next few weeks, pointing out that the game needs to generate some kind of money soon and that it can't be on hiatus forever. That hits extra hard considering how Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League performed.
