In collaboration with China Merchants Bank, Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse released brand-new art depicting the popular Cryo character Ganyu. HoYoverse worked with a number of companies in the past two years for Genshin Impact collaborations including KFC, Pizza Hut, and Visa.
Genshin Impact's new Ganyu art was revealed on Chinese social and streaming platforms Weibo and Bilibili, and the new art is featured on new Visa credit cards by China Merchants Bank. Although the promotion is limited to China, the official art was made available around the world thanks toGenshin Impact's diligent Reddit community. Additionally, a new Genshin Impact ad featuring the Ganyu credit card was released across the aforementioned Chinese platforms.

The official art depicts Ganyu wearing a modern work outfit with glasses and a purse to promote business with China Merchants Bank. The work outfit is blue, white, and black to reference Ganyu's appearance in Genshin Impact. Liyue Harbor may be seen in the background, but emphasis is placed on Ganyu as the star of the promotional art. Furthermore, the Visa credit card features a light blue Cryo background to replace the Liyue Harbor background found within the official art released by HoYoverse.
China Merchants Bank's Ganyu promotion coincides with her reappearance in Genshin Impact version 3.0. The «Adrift in the Harbor» event wish is active until September 28, giving players another opportunity to summon Ganyu to their party before Genshin Impact version 3.1 arrives.
