One fan is utilizing the powerful creation tools of Forge in Halo Infinite to recreate Middle-earth from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Despite not being released yet, some fans have already gained access to Halo Infinite's Forge, revealing the mode's creative possibilities.
One of these gamers that have been creating using Forge in Halo Infinite is a content creator known as Red Nomster. In a recent tweet, the user revealed they were making the Shire from Lord of the Rings, and they provided a picture that showed their progress so far.

While Red Nomster noted that the work was in its early stages, they still showed off some terrain they had already started to modify. According to the artist, they were beginning with the Shire, and they chose a large hillside to begin building on. Based on the screenshot shared by the creator, the ground had already begun to be smoothed out to form what would presumably be the rolling hills of the place Frodo and Bilbo called home at the start of the Fellowship of the Ring. In addition, they noted that they had «blocked out some hobbit holes» in the area.
The Shire is a location found in Lord of the Rings, and it is the home of the Hobbits. While it has been described in great detail in J.R.R. Tolkien’s literature, the films directed by Peter Jackson gave fans another look at the idyllic place. Featuring homes built into the sides of hills and beautiful gardens, it is no wonder that Red Nomster has decided to start with this location. However, the artist has stated they wish to make Middle-earth in Halo Infinite's Forge mode, implying that they could be creating even more locations based on Lord of the Rings soon.
