NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs including the RTX 4080 SUPER, 4070 Ti SUPER & 4070 SUPER are all set for retail availability in January.
NVIDIA is preparing the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU lineup which will be introduced on the 8th of January at CES 2024. Following the unveiling, NVIDIA will allow AIB partners to begin marketing campaigns for their respective lineups. This recent update to AICs has allowed the tech leakers to gain knowledge of the on-shelf dates of these GPUs which as ITHome reports are (via Chinese Board Channel Forums):
The trio of the RTX 40 SUPER family will be unveiled the same day but their actual availability will vary. The green team does intend to have all three products launched within the same month of January and the RTX 4070 SUPER will be the first to make it to market with a launch date of the 17th of January followed by the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER on the 24th of January and finally, the RTX 4080 SUPER on the 31st of January. All cards will be launched a week apart which should give reviewers enough time for testing and AIBs to work on marketing for their latest products.
What's interesting about the upcoming launch is that we have yet to hear anything about NVIDIA's own Founders Edition design. AIBs will be offering a range of new and refreshed custom designs & so far, we haven't heard anything about an FE model though NVIDIA does have the opportunity to do a slight refresh of its design, maybe with a new "SUPER" logo on them?
Starting at the top, we have the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER which is expected to use the AD103-400 GPU (PG139 SKU 355) with the full 10,240 cores, 320 TMUs, 112 ROPs, and 64 MB of L2 cache. The chip will use a 256-bit bus interface which would suggest a 16 GB
