Hello Games has today released the latest update for its sprawling space game No Man’s Sky.
The Interceptor update sees players explore corrupted worlds and take charge of their own salvaged Sentinel Interceptor starship.
Sentinel technology is a large focus of the update, as players will be able to harvest ethereal radiant shards from planets, which can be used to fuel their Sentinel ship. Also introduced in the update is the Aeron Turbojet, a jetpack that can be used to traverse planets.
The Interceptor update also provides improvements to the game’s VR mode, which recently launched on PS VR2 and has been available on other platforms for some time. The VR mode now features wrist interface controls on supported platforms. The game’s VR projector interface can now be repositioned and adjusted at will too.
Xbox versions of No Man’s Sky will also see an improvement in performance going forward, according to Hello Games.
