Tango Gameworks has released a new update for its hit rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It adds bug fixes, new quality-of-life features and the paid Bossplay Costume Pack, which gives Chai and friends some Vandelay-style outfits.
Regarding the quality of life, players having trouble with the timed inputs and parries are in luck. The 2D Rhythm Game Assist is available for Easy and Normal difficulty, providing a larger window when performing timed inputs. You no longer instantly fail the game on missing inputs, though 70 percent are still required to succeed.
There’s also Auto Rhythm Parry, where pressing and holding the button for the first input in a forced parry/dodge event leads to each subsequent parry/dodge being successful. You can miss the first action (so long as the second is triggered), but parrying 70 percent of these attacks is still necessary to succeed.
