Nexon's upcoming multiplayer looter shooter, The First Descendant, is hosting a cross-play beta next month, bringing players from across PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles together to stress the servers in late August.
Theupcoming beta will take place on August 22nd and run through August 28th, bringing players together from across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Despite running on Epic's powerful Unreal Engine 5, The First Descendant will also be playable on last-gen systems, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as the current Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5. Currently, on PC it seems the test will only be available on Steam.

Players who sign up on one platform can also sign up on the others, allowing players to test The First Descendant across each system they own.
It doesn't look like it'll be a closed beta either, with the FAQ on the site stating that if you applied, you should receive an email. More information should be coming in August as we get closer to the test.
The First Descendantis a co-op third-person looter shooter that sees players take part in PvE fights against various bosses to protect the in-game «Ingris Continent.» We had a chance to check it out last October, with Garrick describing it as the result of smashing Destiny 2 and Outriders together.
