Here’s some exciting news about an upcoming Japanese title! This one’s called Tribe Nine, and we’ve got a new trailer for it. It’s from the creators of Danganronpa, the game where a frightening teddy bear forces high school kids to kill each other as part of an escape game.
Tribe Nine is in the works for Android, iOS and Steam, with its Closed Beta set for August for PC players. Right now, the makers are inviting players to participate in a Steam CBT of the 3D action RPG. The game was first announced by Too Kyo Games and Akatsuki in 2021. They dropped a teaser along with the announcement.
And now, they’re back with more info on the game. First up, they’ve dropped this new Tribe Nine trailer, which looks pretty good. The trailer shows that the game will have a bunch of tough battles with equally tough enemies. It’s a mix of 2D pixel-style overworld with full 3D combat.
Since it’s been designed by the designers of the Danganronpa series, you can expect Tribe Nine not to fall short in that category. The presentation is quite catchy and gives the game an unexpected charm amidst all the thousands of gacha games that we already have. Well, enough of my POV. Why don’t you take a look at the Tribe Nine trailer yourself?
Well, no word on that, as of now. All we know is that you can sign up for the closed beta now. The application period starts today, so go ahead and check out the official website. Meanwhile, let’s hope that they drop some news on the Android CBT soon.
Tribe Nine will have a Japanese voiceover with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support. It’ll be free to play with in-app purchases. For more updates on the game, you can stay tuned to their official site news.
