Ms. Marvel Merch Reveals MCU Avengers Fan Convention Details
New merchandise from Ms. Marvel gives audiences a better look at MCU Fan Convention AvengerCon Kamala Khan will attend. Based on the Marvel superhero of the same name, Ms. Marvel is set to arrive on Disney+ on June 8, 2022, and will introduce the character of Kamala Khan to the MCU. Kamala is many things — a teenage Pakistani American, a girl from Jersey, and also a fan of superheroes as she has grown up in a world filled with them. Like many superhero fans, she loves going to conventions.
The trailer for Ms. Marvel offers plenty of hints to this, as Kamala has a doodle in her notebook of Ant-Man and is seen wearing a t-shirt of Captain Marvel, Valkyrie, and Wasp. Featured in the trailer is a superhero convention, where she dons a Captain Marvel costume to attend and might be where her powers activate for the first time. As the MCU has grown and evolved, the universe has become more lived in and much like Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Kamala is a character who has grown up around superheroes.

Ahead of the series premiere, Hot Topic has started selling merchandise for Ms. Marvel with a throw blanket that reflects the poster for the convention that Kamala attends in the series. The blanket identities the event as AvengerCon including panels about Captain Marvel and Ant-Man. Hulk is mentioned twice, once in what appears to be a showcase of various things the character has smashed and an interactive room where attendees can smash objects like the Hulk. The other prominent mention is Asgard, with one event titled 'The Realms of Asgard' and the other 'The Hills of Asgard'.
