Earlier this week, a 15-year-old German Twitch streamer crossmauz became a viral sensation. A video clip started making the rounds on Twitter showing crossmauz’s victory celebration after getting a kill in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He didn’t do a backflip or say something offensive--he hosted a one-person rave in his parents’ basement.
The clip was first posted to Twitter by user @kittyzandpichu, who noticed crossmauz’s stream after being killed in-game. “Just got killed by this kid on Steam MW2 with Twitch in his name and this is what I see,” wrote kittyzandpichu just above a clip of crossmauz blowing out his own eardrums.
