Following the crossover spectacle of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Kirsten Dunst said she would love to join Marvel's multiverse and reprise her role as the Mary Jane opposite Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. Dunst debuted as Peter Parker's love interest in the original 2002 film, starring alongside Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin and James Franco as Harry Osborn. Coming from director Sam Raimi, Spider-Man brought Stan Lee's teenage hero to the big screen. Since then, the character has been the focus of three separate film franchises, including Marvel's latest offering.
Spider-Man: No Way Home, starring Tom Holland, has already broken box office records with its cameo-filled multiversal adventure. Not only is No Way Home a fan-favorite for this year's Oscars, but the movie has earned one of the top spots on the all-time box office leaderboard. Maguire and Dafoe both returned for the movie, reuniting for the first time since Raimi's series. But the special appearances didn't end there, with other familiar Spidey universe faces like Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx, and Alfred Molina reviving old characters for the crossover event. The MCU's multiverse storyline has been introduced in grand fashion and there's no telling who will show up next.

Her excited response suggests that she would be happy to return as MJ, and is just waiting for the call. Plus, being able to pay the bills with a Marvel check would be nice according to Dunst.
