A Reddit user named Tht1Knight has uploaded a video from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with the title “unluckiest Semtex ever.” It features the player fighting an opponent on the Breenbergh Hotel map in Modern Warfare 2, before deciding to throw a Semtex grenade in the hopes of getting the kill. Tht1Knight rushes towards the opponent after throwing the grenade, only to die to the Semtex immediately afterward. The kill cam reveals that the opposing player threw a Semtex right before Tht1Knight, as both grenades collided in mid-air and fell on the ground next to the Reddit poster.

The kill cam highlights the unlikely nature of this scenario, and Tht1Knight was probably not wrong to name this clip the unluckiest Semtex ever. Users in the comments section appear just as surprised, with one claiming to have never witnessed such an event during a Call of Duty match.
