Although demos are great for offering a taste of what's to come, they often end just as things are getting good, but a mod for the Resident Evil 4 remake demo has managed to essentially make it endless. There's a lot to look forward to when it comes to horror gaming in the coming year, both in the AAA and indie scenes, and RE4 is just one of a slew of releases that are hotly anticipated. Fortunately, there's not long to wait until Capcom launches this modern take on the classic survival game.
Until then, the demo for the remake of Resident Evil 4 is available, giving fans the chance to see what lies in store on March 24. While it provides some insight into what can be expected when the final release comes out, it is a bit of a tease. However, that's the nature of video game trials. Their intention is to be limited so as not to give the game away, so to speak, and while the RE4 demo does end after a certain point, someone has managed to extend this for nearly endless playtime.
Resident Evil 4 Demo Trick Makes Easy Work of Enemies
As spotted by The Gamer, Nexus Mods user FluffyQuack has taken this finite slice of Resident Evil 4 and all but made it infinite. According to the description, «Never Bingo» removes the time and kill limits from the village portion of the demo, making it so that the infected villagers will continue to come after Leon. It also suggests that there won't be a point when they stop their attack, which is where this chapter typically ends. This means players won't get to hear Leon say the immortal words, «Where's everyone going? Bingo?» However, it does mean the demo can be played for much longer.
