Razer: Please Don't Use Our Mouse Mat To Start Fires, Hit People

Razer’s new mouse mat is so big and glassy the company is warning customers to avoid using it as a weapon or to start fires.
On Thursday, the PC vendor launched the Razer Atlas(Opens in a new window), a $99 mouse mat that’s made out of tempered glass.
The product is both sleek and large, measuring in at 17 inches by 15 inches while featuring a thickness at 0.19 inches. Although the Razer Atlas is designed to sit on a desk, the company is also cautioning customers from using the mouse mat for potentially malicious purposes.
An image on the website for the Razer Atlas advises owners to avoid using the mouse mat as a giant magnifying glass to start fires or to bash someone’s head with.
