Warning! Spoilers ahead for the Ms. Marvel finale
Marvel has debunked the ongoing shapeshifting theory about the Ms. Marvel finale's post-credits scene surprise. The latest Marvel/Disney+ series wrapped up the seventh MCU small-screen project after six episodes. Ms. Marvel introduced Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Jersey City native who gets her own powers through a magical bangle after obsessing over the Avengers, particularly Carol Danvers.
Despite existing in the wider MCU, Marvel Studios kept Ms. Marvel's story small, opting to center on Kamala and her family as she navigates her newfound superpowers. The show's premiere did feature an «AvengerCon,» and there were other references to heroes in the franchise to establish its place in the timeline, but Ms. Marvel's story was mostly tightly-focussed. As it turns out, Marvel saved its biggest cameo for the end of the series, when the Ms. Marvel finale post-credits scene surprisingly featured Danvers herself, aka Captain Marvel. However, it is unclear how exactly Carol appeared in Kamala's bedroom, resulting in some fan theories that the young superhero shape-shifted into her idol, and the character shown in the credits scene is not actually Captain Marvel.
