Ms. Marvel’s shocking post-credits scene provides answers to five major MCU mysteries relevant to Phase 4’s story. Despite its heavy use of Marvel references, Kamala Khan’s six-episode journey has had the feel of a standalone MCU story. But in the aftermath of her final battle with Damage Control, Ms. Marvel laid the groundwork for some exciting developments in the MCU’s future.
Kamala Khan’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe saw the character come to terms with her new abilities and face off against her very first MCU villains. And of course, it was known from the start of the series that the challenges she would endure in Ms. Marvel would only be the beginning. Regardless of whether or not Ms. Marvel season 2 happens, she’ll most definitely be seen again. It was announced a while ago that Kamala would help make up a trio of all-female superheroes in the long-awaited sequel to Captain Marvel. Titled The Marvels, the Phase 4 team-up movie will see Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala join forces against an unknown enemy.

As many expected, Ms. Marvel episode 6 concluded with a tease of Kamala’s upcoming adventure with Carol in The Marvels. Through a surprise cameo from Brie Larson, the season finale’s post-credits scene showed Kamala experiencing an odd sensation from the bangle before seemingly transforming into a fully suited-up Captain Marvel who proceeded to stare at her new surroundings. What transpired in this scene resulted in instant confusion from viewers, but it actually clears up five MCU mysteries.
