Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani reveals whether Kamala Khan would be Team Captain America or Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. Marvel Studios' latest hero debuted in her own TV series on Disney+, Ms. Marvel, which recently aired its shocking finale. Kamala's next MCU outing is in Nia DaCosta's The Marvels, which she headlines with Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau. Aside from her praised performance as Kamala, however, one of the most exciting things about Vellani's casting at first was her love for the MCU.
As a self-proclaimed MCU die-hard, Vellani understandably has a lot of opinions about the franchise. The actor reportedly provided Marvel Studios with in-depth notes about its films when she first joined the universe. Vellani also has some strong opinons about which Earth the MCU's Sacred Timeline is actually set on. This all contributes to her perfect casting as Kamala, who is a super-fan of the Avengers, particularly Captain Marvel herself, who appeared in the Ms. Marvel post-credits scene. Naturally, Vellani has some thoughts regarding the Infinity Saga, especially concerning its defining moments, such as the core battle of Captain America: Civil War.

When asked on Reddit if Ms. Marvel will be Team Cap or Team Iron Man in Civil War, Vellani made her choice clear. The actor says«Tony» would be her choice. And while the actor explains that in Marvel Comics, Tony Stark serves as Kamala's father figure, she doesn't elaborate on why she thinks Ms. Marvel would side with the genius billionaire during Civil War.
