Warning: This article contains spoilers for Ms Marvel episode 6.
The Ms Marvel finale just introduced Captain Marvel, but posed some major questions for Kamala Khan's future: not least, did Ms Marvel just transform into Carol Danvers? Ms Marvel's post-credits scene shows Kamala mysteriously disappear, with Brie Larson's Captain Marvel appearing in her place. The incredibly powerful Avenger then looks around, confused, saying «no, no, no!» almost in a way that suggests she knows what happened. That inevitably prompts questions of whether Ms Marvel actually transformed into Captain Marvel.
While the MCU completely changed Ms Marvel's powers, in the comics, Kamala Khan does possess shapeshifting powers. In her very first comic issue, when Ms Marvel gains her powers, she literally transforms into Captain Marvel, believing that to be what she wanted to be. Like the MCU show, her subsequent arc is focused on her finding her own identity as a hero and a person. That hasn't stopped asking a pressing question about her future, though: does Ms Marvel become Captain Marvel. She won't, because she's her own hero, but the nod to that transformation in Ms Marvel's finale was a clever one.

The biggest question after Ms Marvel's post-credits scene is whether Kamala Khan used her Marvel comics shapeshifting powers and physically turn into Captain Marvel. There is certainly evidence to suggest that Ms Marvel does transform into Carol Danvers, given that Captain Marvel's costume is different to last time we saw her (suggesting it could be Kamala's favourite version of it) and Carol's hands glow the same way Kamala's do when she uses her powers, but there's more going on here and the real
