However, with Danvers off-world, Binary does what makes her comfortable until she discovers who she or what she really is.
In the current Captain Marvel run at Marvel Comics, Carol Danvers used her powers to create a sentient energy being that helped her defeat a villain who had been taking on her friends and allies. However, when the dust settled, the powerful being continued existing with its own consciousness. Things got further complicated when Captain Marvel disappeared on Earth after facing trial for her crimes against magic. Now, with Carol gone, Binary is stealing her look, choosing not to use the fiery appearance that she was introduced with.
