While Captain Marvel is one of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe, her abilities are inconsequential compared to the insurmountable power of Galactus–a being older than the Marvel Universe itself. However, Captain Marvel’s powers have a hidden feature that can impact an entire planet not unlike Galactus himself but with the exact opposite effect.
Galactus is a being who is more of a force of nature than he is a definable character as he has been burdened with the task of consuming planets across the universe for the cosmic purpose of keeping life in check while satiating his endless hunger. While he has the power to devour entire worlds, Galactus also has access to a god-tier power source known as the Power Cosmic, making him practically unstoppable and all the more terrifying. Captain Marvel also wields immense power in the form of flight, energy absorption, photon blasts, and self sustenance to name a few, and those abilities are shared by most of the other iterations of Captain Marvel–including her predecessor, Mar-Vell.

In Captain Marvel #33 by Kelly Thompson and Sergio Davila, Captain Marvel is being attacked by the brainwashed minions of the villainous Vox Supreme, minions who she quickly discovers are her friends and fellow ‘Marvels:’ Spectrum, Phyla-Vell, and Genis-Vell.
