Nintendo has announced the release date and track list for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass Wave 4.
The platform holder revealed the first details of the game’s next DLC pack last month, when it said it would include a brand-new course called Yoshi’s Island and introduce Birdo as a playable character.
On Thursday. Nintendo announced that Booster Course Pass Wave 4 will be released on March 9.
It also confirmed the full track list. The Fruit Cup and Boomerang Cups will include the following tracks:
Nintendo said last month that returning characters from the Mario Kart series will also be added in future DLC waves.
Priced at $24.99/£24.99, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will include 48 DLC tracks across six waves, all of which will be released by the end of 2023.
Players who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack receive access to the DLC as part of their subscription.
The third wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC was released in December. It included classic tracks such as Boo Lake from GameBoy Advance and Maple Treeway from Nintendo Wii.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is Switch’s best-selling game. As of December 2022, it had sold 52 million copies, according to Nintendo.
That puts it ahead of Animal Crossing: New Horizons (41.59m), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (30.44m), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (29m) and Pokémon Sword/Shield (25.68m).
