A number of select Mario series amiibo have been restocked in the days leading up to this year's Mar10 Day. Amiibo figures based on Mario characters have consistently been some of the most popular in Nintendo's catalog of scannable figures.
The first line of amiibo launched in 2014 as collectible figures with NFC chips in their base. These figures can be scanned and registered on certain Nintendo consoles, typically to unlock bonus items and cosmetics such as the unique glider designs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, character costumes in Fire Emblem Engage, and exclusive gear in Splatoon 3. New amiibos are usually revealed alongside major game releases or as part of an ongoing line like the Super Smash Bros. series of amiibo which has continued to periodically get new figures.

Those looking to get amiibos based on characters from the Mario series are in luck. Twitter user @Wario64, best known for prolifically sharing gaming deals, shared that several Mario series amiibos have been restocked at various retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. These reprinted characters include Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Donkey Kong. Many amiibos are known for being hard to find due to their popularity and for not being regularly reprinted such as the Animal Crossing line of amiibo cards which have reached incredibly high prices online.
The reprint for these Mario amiibo happened in the same week as Mar10 Day which Nintendo is celebrating by offering a new Switch bundle that comes with one of three Mario games as well as stickers based on The Super Mario Bros.
