Maguire’s Spider-Man Attacked By Dark Magic in Doctor Strange 2 Fan Poster
Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man is the target of some dark magic in an intriguingly twisted Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessfan poster. Following December's blockbuster event pic Spider-Man: No Way Home, the MCU is diving headfirst into another multiverse-spanning adventure with Doctor Strange 2. The Sam Raimi-directed film stars Benedict Cumberbatch in his latest onscreen appearance as Dr. Stephen Strange. This time around, Stephen must contend with the dark side of the multiverse when a dangerous new adversary rises up. He'll be joined by Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Wong (Benedict Wong), and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), a Young Avengers character making her MCU debut.
Much like No Way Home, Doctor Strange 2 is rumored to include a truly impressive number of Marvel cameos. The concept of the multiverse has allowed for all pre-MCU Marvel movies to be considered canon within this world, and there have been signs that Doctor Strange 2 intends to make good use of the opportunities that idea provides. For example, the recent Doctor Strange 2 trailer appears to feature the voice of Patrick Stewart, seemingly back to play X-Men's Charles Xavier onscreen once again.

Faced with the potential for numerous Marvel returns in Multiverse of Madness, fans have been abuzz with ideas for who might be included. For example, a new poster created by digital artist César makes Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man the new face of Doctor Strange 2.
