The upcoming Marvel sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has one of the best superhero transformation opportunities of MCU's Phase 4. The latest trailer for Doctor Strange 2 shows plenty of chaos unfolding in what should be another Marvel box-office hit. The Multiverse of Madness will follow sorcerer Stephen Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) after his actions in Spider-Man: No Way Home caused openings in the multiverse.
The trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness introduced some exciting potential for Phase 4 of the MCU. A significant scene was where Doctor Strange seemed to be traveling through a variety of different dimensions–which makes sense given the title. Comic book fans might have recognized a moment where Strange seemed to dissolve into block-like shapes. This may very well have been a reference to the House of M block dimension. Another moment showed the possibleX-Men location of Savage Land introduced.

Along with the block dimension and The Savage Land, viewers may have also noticed another reality jumping moment in the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer. For a brief couple of frames, it appears Doctor Strange is coming out of a completely animated universe. This could imply there is a part of the multiverse that is designed in the same way as the comics and animated television shows. More time in this dimension could mean major rule changes and possibilities as there are unique advantages when it comes to an animated format versus live-action. With a more seamless suspension of disbelief from the audience, animated action sequences can be more fantastical. Not to say the MCU
