Elizabeth Olsen teases Scarlet Witch's fight with Doctor Strange in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Benedict Cumberbatch returns to the MCU after Spider-Man: No Way Home via his own sequel film. This time, however, he is joined by Wanda Maximoff, who is fresh from the Maximoff Anomaly in WandaVision.
When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was announced in 2019, Marvel Studios also confirmed that it will co-star Olsen's sorceress. At that point, fans were still unaware of the events of WandaVision, which effectively set Wanda down a dark path after she learned the truth about being Scarlet Witch. The fact that she also got a hold of the Darkhold and was studying it during her self-imposed exile makes her appearance in Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange 2 more interesting. While the specifics regarding the two magic wielders' relationship are still under wraps, it's clear that, ultimately, they will butt heads.

In Empire Magazine's feature for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Olsen teases what to expect from Doctor Strange and Wanda's interactions, including their fight scenes. While both partook in the fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Endgame, they didn't meet — at least not on screen. Read Olsen's full comment below:
