A Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness producer explains the various meanings of the film's title. The long-awaited sequel to 2016's Doctor Strange has generated a lot of buzz. It promises to pay off the events of WandaVision for Scarlet Witch, introduce America Chavez, and the recent Superbowl trailer revealed an appearance by Patrick Stewart, most likely reprising his role as Professor Xavier from Fox's X-Men movies. The Multiverse of Madness trailer showed off many signature visual flares of Raimi's, implying a much darker MCU film than audiences are used to, one that focuses on the titular madness. Yet it appears that the title has more than one meaning.
