A new Like a Dragon: Ishin! patch is now available on PC, introducing various balance tweaks and fixes for several issues for an improved experience.
Patch 1.04 addresses issues caused by Kiji-maru Kunishige, which changed items and even crashed the game in certain situations. Some of the changed items cannot be restored, but the developer is providing the ability to re-obtain lost DLC weapons as well as some additional items as compensation.
The new Like a Dragon: Ishin! patch also introduces some balance changes, such as increased enemy item drop rate, easier-to-obtain seals, and more. The patch also includes fixes for a variety of issues, PlayStation controllers support regardless of Steam Input settings, and more. You can check out the full patch notes here.
Since its release last month, Like a Dragon: Ishin! was patched multiple times with plenty of welcome improvements. The previous patch, patch 1.03, addressed shader compilation stuttering issues, improving performance considerably. Ultra-wide resolutions support was also improved with some additional fixes.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! released on PC and consoles last month. The game is the remake of the prequel to the entire Yakuza/Like a Dragon series originally released a few years ago on PlayStation consoles and never made it to North America and Europe due to massive localization challenges. Now, these challenges have finally been conquered, and players all over the world can enjoy the game's classic RPG mechanics and compelling story. You can learn more about these by checking out Kai's review.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide.
