Life By You is releasing in early access on June 4. Developed by Paradox Tectonic and published by Paradox Interactive, Life By You is a highly anticipated life simulation game that's often compared to The Sims, with some fans dubbing it a worthy competitor to the popular franchise.
First revealed last year, Life By You gave a glimpse of its character and home customization tools, and how players can build relationships with NPCs in the game. Despite the Sims comparisons, Life By You stands out because it will simulate every second of the characters' virtual lives, which ensures that everyone will live on the same timescale up to a simulated 75+ years, and other gameplay innovations for the life sim genre.
After two delays, Life By You announced that it's finally launching as Early Accesson June 4, 2024. The game was originally set for release in September, but was delayed to December and March, which caused some concerns among gamers. But the two-month extension gave the Paradox team enough time to «put the finishing touches on the visuals for its human characters and to improve gameplay further.»
