Starfield might be Bethesda’s most stable game to date, but that doesn’t mean that it’s completely free of any and all technical issues. Players have been encountering some nasty bugs in certain quests alongside performance issues, but thankfully the latest update is here to iron out those problems.
The update 1.7.36 (available on both Xbox Series and PC) is a small patch that adds an FOV slider to let players adjust their peripheral vision in both first-person and third-person mode. In addition to this, the patch also improves performance on Intel Arc GPUs. Finally, the patch also fixes a nasty progression-blocking bug that can occur during the quest “Echoes of the Past“.
Check out our review of Starfield through here. Bethesda also revealed that the game surpassed over 10 million players in just a couple of weeks, and that impressive player count has madeStarfield the fastest selling new IP in Europe this year.
