Reddit user donqon had those strengths at the front of their mind when they posted a thread entitled, "" Complete with gory screenshots, they argued that it can be fun to ignore all the finer points of 's setting and roleplaying elements,instead going on an all-out rampage across the map.
As it turns out, the original poster wasn't the only one: many others, like GatoSander0, admitted to having done the same exact thing. Although this particular player claimed to be "" to take the violent way out of most confrontations, sometimes, they'll make a quicksave and wreak as much havoc as they like. They also pointed out that this method can be a useful way of testing out different mods prior to using them in real combat situations.
Others, like erthboy, seemed to relate to the catharsis of going on an in-game rampage, but argued that the original poster took it too far. As seen in the screenshots above, donqon posed the bodies of dead NPCs in various disturbing, compromising ways, which is, admittedly, pretty dark.
Still others, like gregiorp, wished for a way to make these onslaughts official, probably envisioning something like 's round-based Zombies mode. They drew a comparison to, in which there's no such thing as an essential NPC; everyone and anyone can be killed, even if it breaks the main quest.
