Jack Black Geeked Out On Stranger Things (But Doesn't Like That Eddie Died)
Jack Black recently shared that he's «geeking out» on Stranger Things and that he's a huge fan of Eddie Munson. Played by Joseph Quinn, Eddie made a massive splash in season 4 of the hit Netflix series, becoming pals with Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and meeting the rest of the main characters.
Jack Black is just a big a fan as many others, but he shared one thing that he didn't like about Eddie's character arc, something that many likely agree with.

Jack Black is among the many fans who are loving season 4 of Stranger Things. The actor said, «Me and my son Tommy just watched all of — and this song is bringing it back — all of the, what do you call it? Stranger Things. It ws pretty epic. I was geeking out pretty hard and then I was like, why did you kill the heavy metal guy? He was the best character.»
It's fair that say in vol. 1 of season 4 of Stranger Things, Eddie needs more time to shine, as he's an excellent new character but fans don't see him that much as he hides out in a trailer most of the time. In the last part of season 4, Eddie makes a giant sacrifice when he distracts the creatures in the Upside Down by playing a heavy metal song. When they kill him, it's a heartbreaking moment, but Eddie feels good that he has helped his friends and done something important. Eddie is one of the best characters in Stranger Things season 4 and he really cares about the others who he has become close to in such a short amount of time.
