Stranger Things season 4 introduces Eddie but «Justice for Eddie» is really just a mockery of «Justice for Barb.» While Eleven and Will are in California, the group joins a DnD campaign called Hellfire Club, run by a senior named Eddie Munson. When Eddie befriends Chrissy Cunningham, he witnesses her murder by Vecna, which causes him to flee. Eddie, who is already an outcast, is further ostracized by the people of Hawkins who believe he is the murderer. In addition to stopping Vecna, Dustin and his friends must clear Eddie's name.
In the Stranger Things season 4 finale, Eddie sacrifices himself by leading the Demobats away to buy the others time. After his heroic death, the phrase «Justice for Eddie» has popped up on social media, mimicking the "Justice for Barb" campaign from the first season of Stranger Things. Despite her limited screen time, Barb became an audience favorite who was a welcome break from the perfect girls in teen shows. She also was a victim of a situation many girls can relate to, being left by a friend for a boy. At her low point, she was dragged to her death crying out her best friend's name.

“Justice for Barb” is a Stranger Thingsphrase that lives to this day. Barb is only in two episodes before she is killed off, but her legacy outlives her. Eddie's character development begins in the first episode and he gets many epic moments in Stranger Things season 4, such as shredding a Metallica song in the Upside Down in Stranger Things season 4's finale.
