During the exchange between Doja Cat and Schnapp, Schnapp suggested that Doja message Quinn herself, and she responded by saying she had no way of reaching out to him. Following this, Schnapp shared the messages on his TikTok account with over 27 million followers.

After hearing about Schnapp sharing their messages on the internet, Doja took to her own TikTok to share how she felt about theStranger Things star by calling Schnapp a “snake,” a “weasel,” and called his behavior “exploitative.” However, according to Schnapp, the two settled their problems off of social media and there are “no hard feelings” between the stars. He also revealed that he apologized to the singer for sharing the private messages on such a public platform. Schnapp further instilled that the “feud” is a thing of the past by using one of Doja's popular songs, «Kiss Me More,» in his most recent TikTok video.
Although Schnapp has decided to turn the other cheek and apologize to the singer for making her uncomfortable, many fans believe that the singer wasn’t completely in the right in the situation.
