Stranger Things Writers Tease That They Have Started Work On Season 5
Fans of Netflix's runaway phenomenon show Stranger Things should start getting ready to go back to Hawkins, Indiana as the writers behind the smash hit series reveal that they have begun work on season 5. With season 4 ending on a huge cliffhanger, fans are eager for any news about the fifth, and final season of the show.
The Twitter account for the writer's room, @strangerwriters, teased the first day of writing by posting a picture of a whiteboard emblazoned with Stranger Things 5 and captioned with Day 1. Needless to say, the replies to the post have been a mixture of excitement, trepidation, and pleading for dead characters to make a return.

The fourth season of The Duffer Brothers' smash hit series was released in 2 batches, with the first seven episodes releasing on May 27th and the final two episodes dropping on July 1st. Audiences watched as the newest fan-favorite character Eddie Munson battled with the power of music and the big bad Vecna succeeded in splicing the Upside Down with the town of Hawkins.
The cliffhanger ending of season 4 suggests that whatever season 5 has to bring it will include Hawkins' premiere Dungeons and Dragons club taking on the horrors of the Upside Down while trying to return their town to normality. Whatever the plot for the final season, it's certain to be a hit. The fourth season quickly became the most streamed English language season on Netflix and only comes second overall to Squid Game.
