Ryu’s Office will host the first INDIE Live Expo event of 2024 on May 25, the company announced. The showcase will mark the 10th ever INDIE Live Expo event, and is commemorated by a new logo.
The broadcast serves as a gateway between independent game development scenes across the world, and is streamed in English, Japanese, and Chinese. It will feature the rapid-fire “INDIE Waves” segment showcasing dozens of short-form content updates across numerous titles, as well as a deep dive into a new local game development scene with the return of “Indie Studios Around the World.”
Game submissions for independent developers and publishers are now open at the official website until March 11 at 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET. Registration is free for up to one title per organization.
“Our favorite time of year is when submissions open!” said Ryu’s Office founder and CEO Ryuta Konuma in a press release. “The possibilities within indie gaming are truly endless, which was the main inspiration behind our new logo. Every year we are wowed by such innovative indies that we could have never imagined. Many thanks to our supporters who make our show possible every year!”
