Bloodborne fans just can't catch a break as Sony has left it out of a Twitter poll that asks fans to vote for what they think is the most "supreme" PlayStation exclusive.
When you think about the best first-party PlayStation games, what comes to mind? There are certianly a lot of games to choose between, from The Last of Us and God of War all the way to Spider-Man and Gran Turismo, but there's one game that Sony apparently doesn't consider to be in that upper echelon of exclusives - Bloodborne.
As reported by Dot Esports, Sony's social media accounts have been running a bracket over the last few days that asks fans to choose between which first-party PlayStation exclusive game "reigns supreme". The choices include some obvious picks like God of War and Ragnarok, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon: Forbidden West, and more.
As deserving as all of those games are as PlayStation's best exclusive, there's one very obvious pick that's been completely omitted. That game is, of course, Bloodborne, something that I'm sure won't surprise fans at all considering how Sony has basically ignored requests for a remaster or PC release since it originally released.
Considering Bloodborne is widely regarded as one of the best PlayStation exclusives and even one of FromSoftware's all-time best titles, it's very strange to not even see it being mentioned here, something that fans have immediately taken notice of. Most of the comments underneath the post are pointing out how weird it is that Bloodborne hasn't even been mentioned and has once again been snubbed by Sony.
It's not the only PlayStation exclusive that's been left off of the list (no Infamous, really?), but it is the most notable, especially considering its legacy and critical reception. It might seem like a very weird exclusion, but it does make sense when you consider that most of the games on the list are first-party titles that are playable on the PS5 in some regard.
