A new gameplay video of Persona 5: The Phantom X highlights a rhythm-based mini-game that fans can play. Persona 5: The Phantom X is an upcoming mobile and PC spin-off of the Persona franchise. Unlike the game it is based off of, The Phantom X is similar to gacha games like Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy, with this game being developed by Black Wings Studio and published by Perfect World Games. Despite being a very different game from the original Persona 5, it carries a lot of the same DNA in terms of story, characters, and gameplay elements.
Persona 5: The Phantom X has had a few beta events for fans to participate in, though the game is currently China-exclusive. Despite the game being a region-exclusive release and having a number of polarizing mechanics like the gacha summoning system, a number of English-speaking players and other fans outside the demographic are interested in an International release of Persona 5: The Phantom X. Much like other similar rhythm games, players have to either match the rhythm's beats in time, either holding the note that corresponds to the keys on a keyboard if the game is played on a PC, or the touchscreen if the game is played on a phone. The aim is to get a high score by playing on beat and not missing any notes.
