Honkai: Star Rail has officially revealed the exact release date and time for the Special Program event for the upcoming Version 2.1. Before each new update arrives, developer HoYoverse hosts a livestream event that reveals most of the upcoming content including new characters, regions, events, etc.

Honkai: Star Rail has previously confirmed three new characters that will join the roster in the upcoming update 2.1. These roster additions will include two five-star characters, Acheron and Aventurine, and a four-star unit named Gallagher. All of these characters have already made multiple in-game appearances.

According to the official announcement, the event will be held on March 16. As per usual, Trailblazers can look forward to three brand-new redemption codes which will net them 300 free Stellar Jades. Another reason why many fans are excited about this update is the fact that it will host Honkai: Star Rail's first-anniversary event, which should be packed with various rewards. Recent leaks have suggested that players will be able to get an additional 940 Stellar Jades, an Astral Express Crew wallpaper, and a profile avatar. The game will probably offer additional rewards through various limited events.
